Deer Hunting in North Park has always proven to be some of the best in the State! Good management techniques, along with limited access, have helped in maintaining this high quality deer heard. Our entire hunting area contains excellent deer habitat, from Willow Lined River Bottoms, to miles of Sage Brush with Hidden Drainages that lead up through Big Quacky Aspen and Pine Timbered Draws which start well above Timber Line. It all holds deer, and it’s all within reach from our Remote Base Camp. Another aspect of a quality deer herd is Genetics. Deer tags for our units are by Drawing Only, which means you must apply for a license.  It takes several preference points to draw for the later Rifle Seasons, although there is the occasional “lucky duck” who gets it the first time.
